Bronx, NY (January 7, 2021) – Around 6:10 a.m. on Thursday morning, January 7, a car accident with injuries occurred in the Bronx.
According to officials, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of I-87 around the area of 179th Street. It is believed that multiple vehicles collided after one or more lost control. The accident led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
