Bronx, NY (June 3, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, June 3, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in the Bronx.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of the Deegan Expressway around the area of Fordham Road and University Heights. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with various injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
