Brooklyn, NY (November 10, 2020) – On Tuesday afternoon, November 9, a bicycle accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Brooklyn.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of 42nd Street and 14th Avenue when a passenger vehicle collided with a bicycle. Police were able to receive video footage from nearby Schreiber’s Bakery showing the bicyclist entering the intersection when he was struck by a minivan.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The male bicyclist, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the intersection was blocked for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
