Brooklyn, NY – Car Crash on Belt Pkwy Near Pennsylvania Ave

Brooklyn, NY (May 25, 2021) – At 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 24, a car crash took place on a highway in Brooklyn.

According to police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of the Belt Parkway around the area of Pennsylvania Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another. The vehicles were left with severe damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

Two lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
