Brooklyn, NY – Pedestrian Accident at Hinsdale St & Linden Blvd

Brooklyn, NY (May 1, 2021) – At 5:15 p.m. on the evening of Friday, April 30, a pedestrian accident occurred at an intersection in Brooklyn.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Hinsdale Street and Linden Boulevard. A 44-year-old pedestrian female who was driving a school bus was on the sidewalk in the area when a vehicle jumped the curb and intentionally struck her. Police claim that the driver started an argument with the bus driver that prompted her to get out of her vehicle and record the driver. The driver then fled the scene of the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The bus driver received a fractured pelvis, broken ribs, and various other injuries as a result of the accident. She was hospitalized in critical condition.

Police are still searching for the driver responsible for the accident.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
