Brooklyn, NY – Pedestrian Accident Involving Train Near Utica Ave

Brooklyn, NY (March 19, 2021) – Around 9:48 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, March 17, a pedestrian accident involving a train took place in Brooklyn.

According to police, the accident happened on the train tracks near the area of the intersection of Utica Avenue and Fulton Street. A train was traveling in the area when it struck a pedestrian for reasons that are not yet known.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. The victim was injured and hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The area was blocked for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
