Manorville, NY (July 24, 2021) – At 11:35 a.m. on Thursday morning, July 22, a child was killed in a fatal car accident in Manorville.
According to officials, the accident happened on South Street and involved two vehicles. A Ford F-150 was headed westbound when it suddenly crashed into a Hyundai that was traveling in the opposite direction. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The driver of the Hyundai, identified as 21-year-old Parker Giusto, the 25-year-old driver of the Ford, and Giusto’s 9-year-old brother were all taken to local hospitals. The 9-year-old boy was pronounced dead while there.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
