Queens, NY – Car Accident on Grand Central Pkwy Near 86th Ave

Queens, NY (April 10, 2021) – At 2:40 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, April 10, a car accident occurred on a highway in Queens.

According to officials, the accident happened on the Grand Central Parkway around the area of 86th Avenue. Two or more vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of traffic, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.

The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
