Queens, NY (March 5, 2021) – Around 10 p.m. on Thursday night, March 4, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred at an intersection in Queens.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of South Conduit Avenue and Linden Boulevard. A 24-year-old woman was walking across the street at the intersection when she was struck by a vehicle. The eastbound vehicle then fled the scene without stopping.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The woman was found unconscious and unresponsive lying on the road. She was immediately taken to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Police have not yet made any arrests in relation to the accident.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
