Queens, NY (March 14, 2021) – Around 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon, March 12, a pedestrian accident took place at an intersection in Queens.
According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of Queens Boulevard and 84th Drive. A pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital by ambulance with critical injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
