Staten Island, NY – One Injured in House Fire on Wright St

Staten Island, NY (March 30, 2021) – At 8:26 p.m. on Monday night, March 29, a house fire broke out in a home on Staten Island.

According to officials, the fire took place at a home on 152 Wright Street. The fire was allegedly sparked due to an electrical issue in the basement. Fire crews quickly arrived at the scene and had the fire completely under control within the hour.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person was taken to the hospital due to injuries stemming from the fire.

The area was blocked off for some time until police completely cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
