Staten Island, NY – Two Injured in House Fire on Park Hill Ave

Staten Island, NY (May 23, 2021) – At 2:50 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, May 23, two people were injured in a house fire on Staten Island.

According to officials, the incident occurred at 185 Park Hill Avenue when a six-story building caught on fire on the fifth floor. Various fire crews were active at the scene to bring the fire under control.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were present at the scene to help those in need. A civilian and a police officer, who has not yet been identified, were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.

Fire crews were able to get the fire under control around 3:25 p.m.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
