Brooklyn, NY – Car Crash with Injuries on I-278 Near 38th St

Brooklyn, NY (October 13, 2021) – At 7:50 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, October 13, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Brooklyn.

According to Brooklyn Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-278 around the area of 38th Street. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
