Brooklyn, NY – House Fire Causes Injuries to One on 50th St

Brooklyn, NY (November 8, 2020) – Police and fire crews were called to the scene of a fire that occurred on Thursday, November 5, in Brooklyn.

Officials confirmed that the fire started in a home on 50th Street around the area of 17th Avenue. The fire began in the home’s dryer and quickly spread throughout the rest of the home. Fire crews were quickly able to put out the fire to prevent it from spreading to other nearby homes.

Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene of the fire. One person suffered from unknown injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the fire continues.
