Brooklyn, NY (March 25, 2021) – At 3:45 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, March 25, a multi-vehicle crash took place on a highway in Brooklyn.
According to police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of the Belt Parkway close to the area of Shell Road. Two or more vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present in the area. One or more victims were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Traffic was backed up all the way to Coney Island Avenue in the area.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
