Manhattan, NY – Pedestrian Accident Involving Train Near 110th St

Manhattan, NY (February 10, 2021) – On Wednesday morning, February 10, a pedestrian accident took place involving a train in Manhattan.

The accident took place around 7 a.m. on 110th Street at the Central Park North station. A person was struck by a train in the area due to reasons that are not fully known.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. The pedestrian, who had not yet been identified, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Their current condition is not yet known.

Due to the severity of the collision, service in the area was temporarily rerouted as police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
