Staten Island, NY (February 12, 2021) – Around 2:49 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, February 12, a car accident with injuries occurred in Staten Island.
According to officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Ross Avenue. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One person was taken by ambulance to the Staten Island University Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
