Staten Island, NY – One Person Injured in Car Crash on Forest Ave

Staten Island, NY (June 23, 2021) – At 3:48 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 22, one person was injured in a car crash on Staten Island.

According to police, the accident happened at 705 Forest Avenue. A blue sedan and at least one other vehicle collided with each other in the area. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One person was taken to Richmond University Medical Center for treatment of injuries but they are expected to be okay.

The blue sedan was seen with severe damages and its airbags deployed.

The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
