Staten Island, NY (March 26, 2021) – Around 4:50 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, March 25, a two-vehicle collision took place in Staten Island.
According to officials, the accident happened at 42 Smith Terrace. Two vehicles collided with each other in the area, which caused such severe damages that one of the vehicles left debris scattered all over a lawn. The compact vehicle and sedan involved in the accident sustained front-end damage as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One person, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. They are expected to make a recovery.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
