Our community has been struck by yet another heartbreaking tragedy. On Thursday afternoon, a two-vehicle collision on Route 25A in Wading River resulted in the death of one driver and injuries to another.

At approximately 2:40 p.m., a 2015 Chevrolet traveling eastbound on Middle Country Road collided with a 2010 Toyota traveling westbound. Emergency crews from the Wading River Fire Department responded swiftly, working to extract both drivers from their vehicles. Both were transported to the hospital. Sadly, the driver of the Chevrolet succumbed to her injuries.
