Bronx, NY (January 19, 2021) – At 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, January 19, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in the Bronx.
According to police, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of the Cross Bronx Expressway around the area of Jerome Avenue. The accident involved multiple vehicles and led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Traffic was stopped all the way back to the Bronx River Parkway until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
