Bronx, NY – Six Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Henry Hudson Bridge

Bronx, NY (December 17, 2020) – On Wednesday evening, December 16, six people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in the Bronx.

According to police, the accident took place on the Henry Hudson Bridge when 20 vehicles collided with one another in a chain-reaction crash that took place in snowy conditions. The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of traffic and led to extensive damages.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. Six people were injured as a result of the crash. Four of these victims received serious injuries and were rushed to area hospitals for treatment.

Due to the severity of the crash, all southbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.

The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
