Brooklyn, NY – Car Crash with Injuries on I-278 Near Atlantic Ave

Brooklyn, NY (June 25, 2021) – At 8:35 p.m. on the night of Friday, June 25, a car crash with injuries took place on a highway in Brooklyn.

According to local officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-278 around the area of Atlantic Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes until police cleared the scene.
