Queens, NY – Car Accident in EB Lanes of the Belt Pkwy Leads to Injuries

Queens, NY (July 28, 2021) – At 5:30 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, July 28, a car accident with injuries occurred in Queens.

According to local officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of the Belt Parkway around the area of Erskine Street, exit 15. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in one or more lanes until police were able to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
