Bronx, NY (December 2, 2020) – Around 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a truck accident took place at an intersection in the Bronx.

According to police, the accident occurred at the intersection of East 160 Street and Tinton Avenue when an FDNY truck collided with a passenger vehicle. The truck was identified as an Engine 73 truck.

Paramedics and other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Two civilians and four firefighters were taken to the hospital with injuries. The parties are expected to recover.

Queens, NY (December 1, 2020) – Around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday night, November 29, a passenger was killed in a fatal collision in Queens.

According to authorities, the accident took place in the eastbound lanes of the Belt Parkway around the area of 150^th Street. A 20-year-old driver was traveling at high speeds on the highway when he lost control of his vehicle, slamming into the overpass.

Brooklyn, NY (November 25, 2020) – Around 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday morning, November 25, a fatal collision occurred in Brooklyn.

Police determined that the accident took place on Grand Street around the area of Manhattan Avenue. According to police, a 30-year-old man was driving his BMW SUV headed westbound on Grand when one of his tires blew out. This caused him to lose control of his vehicle, where he veered into the other lane of traffic and collided with a Honda. The Honda ran onto the sidewalk nearby and struck a tree.

The SUV continued onward and then struck a Honda Element. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene where they rushed the victim in first Honda to the hospital. He was identified as 26-year-old Alexander Ulloa-Toribio, who was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The driver of the BMW SUV and his 30-year-old passenger received injuries and were hospitalized. No arrests were made.

The driver of the Honda Element, identified as a 34-year-old man, was not injured as a result of the crash.

Brooklyn, NY (November 23, 2020) – Around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday night, November 22, a woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Brooklyn.

Police confirmed that the pedestrian was identified as 62-year-old Alina Morales, who was crossing the street at Atlantic Avenue and Nevins Street. She was suddenly struck by a Hyundai Sonata that was traveling in the area.

Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. Morales was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital Center where she was tragically pronounced deceased.

The driver of the Sonata was identified as a 49-year-old man who remained at the scene of the accident to cooperate with the police. He was arrested late last night, though police have not announced the charges.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
